Relationship Therapy

Free Consultation

I offer a free 20 minute discovery call to see if therapy is for you and to explore if we are a good fit to work together. There is no obligation, just a chance for you to see how it feels.

My approach to therapy is both humanistic and integrative, meaning I tailor our work to your unique needs and personality. I don't believe in a "one-size-fits-all" solution; instead, I draw from various psychological theories, tools, and techniques to ensure our sessions are as effective and creative as possible. I'm passionate about helping you overcome barriers, enhance communication, and rediscover pleasure and connection. After all, healthy relationships and fulfilling sexual experiences are crucial for our overall well-being.

I often integrate person-centered therapy with psychodynamic theory, exploring how past experiences shape your current thoughts, feelings, and relationships. Attachment theory helps us understand how early relationships influence your life today, and I always maintain a trauma-informed approach. For specific sexual dysfunctions, I might incorporate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and I sometimes use Gestalt Therapy to help you focus on present feelings.

Beyond my therapy practice, I'm also a Senior Mental Health Nurse with over 18 years of experience in both NHS and private sectors. This extensive background includes supporting individuals through complex mental health challenges, enduring mental illness, and crises, as well as working extensively with Autism and ADHD.

Low Cost Cancer Therapy

@thecancersextherapist

Following my own cancer diagnosis and experience, I understand the unique challenges that can arise around sex, intimacy, and relationships during and after treatment. That’s why I now offer low-cost sessions for anyone who has been diagnosed with primary or secondary breast cancer — whether you’re currently in treatment, in remission, or navigating survivorship. These sessions are available for both individual therapy and couples therapy with partners.

Rebuilding Intimacy & Connection After Cancer

A cancer diagnosis does not have to mean the end of a fulfilling sex life or deep emotional connection. Therapy can help with:

  • Adapting to physical changes after treatment

  • Managing the effects of cancer therapies on intimacy and desire

  • Rediscovering pleasure and self-confidence

  • Rebuilding closeness with your partner after focusing on survival

I provide a safe, compassionate, and confidential space to explore what’s possible for you, supporting your journey toward healing, confidence, and reconnection.
